David Kolb

David was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Midwood section of Brooklyn.
While attending The City University of New York (Queens College), he launched his writing career. “Kolb's Korner” was a popular column in the Queens College newspaper, “The Quad.” Kolb covered sports with an emphasis on hockey, boxing and football.
While at school, he interned for MSG's Stan Fischler, and has since been a regular contributor to the respected hockey newsletter, The Fischler Report, as well as the Maven's Bluelines column for MSG.
From 1994 to 1997, David worked for SportsChannel New York (now FSN), as a production assistant at New Jersey Devil games on a per game basis. Additionally, he compiled statistics at local NHL games (including the 1995 Stanley Cup Finals) for visiting television broadcasts and major networks, including ESPN, CBC, Fox, and ABC.
David is now a featured columnist for BraggingRightsCorner.com, one of the top exclusive boxing web sites on the internet. Kolb is a member of the Boxing Writers Association of America.
In the realm of fisticuffs, Kolb most recently worked as a production assistant for MSG Network's Sportsdesk featuring the young Jewish welterweight, Dmitriy Salita.
David currently lives in Riverdale, New York with his wife, Gila, and their three children, Gordie, Henri and Lola.
